Job Retention Policy

Jobs that are completed (successfully or unsuccessfully) in TIF will at some point be removed to ensure that the data growth is under control.

Before the removal takes place, a job will first be marked as obsolete after 3 months from the date the job was completed. Marking a job as obsolete is like moving the job into an archive.

Jobs that are marked as obsolete will not appear in the Job Table within the Administration UI unless the query filter is configured to 'Search among obsolete jobs' like illustrated in the image below.

Environments of type TRIAL will follow a different retention scheme. Completed jobs in such environment will only live 1 month after completion before being permanently removed.

After a job has been marked as obsolete, it will stay in that state for some time before being removed completely from the system. This time may vary depending on the environment type, but typically this period will be 3 months.
